TintIQ Lite uses PDLC technology. In the clear state, the glass appears clear and allows normal visibility. When tinted, however, PDLC technology can create a slightly hazy or frosted appearance, which may reduce optical clarity compared to higher-end smart tint technologies. TintIq Lite allows preset tint adjustment from 5% to 40%.

TintIQ Pro uses SPD smart tint the same luxury technology used in high-end vehicles such as Mercedes and McLaren. Unlike PDLC, SPD stays crystal clear in both the lightest and darkest settings without the hazy look. Even at its darkest level, you can still see clearly through the glass. It also allows smooth, fully adjustable tint control, letting you adjust the tint from almost clear to around 70% tint instead of fixed levels.
